Emmanuel Pasquire was a planer operator, however he was also a master toolmaker. In manufacturing, tools can be anything from drills and hammers to intricate jigs that hold materials and parts while they are being worked on. Many are designed to exacting specifications.
In his later years at the plant, Emmanuel Pasquier spent a fair amount of his time in the toolroom.
That room housed an amazing assortment of drill bits, saw blades, dados with carbide tips, all in different shapes and sizes, all with different and sometimes unique uses.
The plant was filled with huge machines but without the products from the toolroom, those machines could not function.
On one wall of the room hung a saw that Emmanuel had used early in his life at the plant.
